Watermelon Lemonade Recipe
Here is how to make it.
The first step is to make watermelon juice puree with watermelon and lemon. Once the puree is made, you’ll pour cold water over the concentrated watermelon juice. It’s that easy to make this healthy drink. I love this way of making watermelon-flavored homemade lemonade. This allows you to make ahead the puree days in advance and use it however way you want to. You can also free the watermelon juice in ice cubes in the freezer for later use.
Watermelon Lemonade Recipe
This watermelon lemonade is so refreshing, light, and delicious. It’s the best summer twist to your classic lemonade you’ll repeat all year long!
Ingredients
· 1 small watermelon chunk (5-7lb)
· 1 cup fresh lemon juice
· 1/4 cup mint leaves (optional)
· 1/3 cup brown sugar (more or less to adjust to your taste)*
· 4 cups of water
· Ice cubes
Instructions
1. Cut watermelon into chunks and remove the seeds unless your blender is able to liquidity them. Discard the rind (watermelon shell) to avoid the bitter taste.
2. Add the chunks, lemon juice, mint leaves, and sugar into the blender and blend until smooth and pureed. Pour through a fine strainer into a pitcher and discard the pulps.
3. In a large pitcher, add the watermelon puree, water, and ice. Stir in and pour into glasses. If you are making this ahead, chill the pitcher in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Ingredients
- 2 C chopped watermelon
- 1/4 C fresh lime juice
- shot of vodka
- watermelon slice for garnish
- ice
Instructions
1. Blend the watermelon well and pour into container to keep in fridge.
2. Juice limes and set aside juice in fridge.
3. When ready to make drink…fill rocks glass full of ice….pour in vodka, splash of lime juice and fill glass with watermelon juice. Mix with long spoon. Place watermelon slice for garnish.
